Are run flat tyres harder to fit at the roadside?
They are stiffer and need the right equipment, which the van carries either way. The more important point is that a run flat driven on after a puncture has usually damaged its own sidewall, so a puncture repair is not safe and replacement is the only honest answer. On a standard type of tyre, we will always check whether a repair will do first.
